Jeffrey Cianciolo is engaged in a diverse business and corporate practice serving various industries, including manufacturing, technology, service and real estate concerns. His work in mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, state court receiverships, joint ventures and other commercial transactions involves representation of management teams, individual investors, and corporate buyers and sellers. In addition to transactional work, Jeffrey has assisted clients in the formation of start-up businesses, the raising of debt and equity capital and the negotiation and resolution of complex shareholder disputes.

Prior to joining Reavis Cianciolo LLC, Jeffrey practiced for 8 years in the corporate and securities group at a large Providence law firm. After law school, Jeffrey served for a year as law clerk to Rhode Island Superior Court Judge Judith C. Savage.

Jeffrey currently serves as a member of the Town Council for the Town of East Greenwich, Rhode Island. He previously served as Town Moderator for the town from 2005 through 2010.

  • Representation of distribution company in $7 million dollar acquisition of an out-of-state competitor
  • Representation of start-up technology company in $1.5 million private offering of securities
  • Representation of founding equity holders in $12 million partial equity sale to private equity group
  • Representation of buyer in the acquisition of business assets from secured lender in a UCC Article 9 secured party sale
  • Court-appointed mediator in complex commercial litigation
  • Representation of real estate investors in $3.5 million acquisition of self-storage facility
  • Representation of family owned service company in equity restructure and implementation of family succession plan
  • Representation of entrepreneur in choice-of-entity, intellectual property, and debt/equity financing
